Years 5 and 6 visited Toulouse to pursue their learning about the pastel merchants who lived there. We looked at the architecture in the centre of Toulouse, Place du Capitole, and Arnaud, our guide took us to see some of the mansions, hotels particuliers, of the merchants. He told us a little about Gothic and Renaissance architecture.
